WALM - Old Time Radio

Before television, families gathered around the radio for detectives, westerns, comedies and suspense. WALM keeps that world on the air. It plays old-time radio around the clock: complete episodes of shows from the 1930s to the 1950s, with music from 78 rpm records between them.

Expect half-hour mysteries, sitcoms built on timing and sound effects, westerns, science fiction anthologies, and the big band and novelty records that filled the gaps on the original broadcasts. It is one of the most voted-for stations in the whole Radio Browser directory, and it's easy to see why: nothing else sounds like it.

Evenings, long drives, and falling asleep. Radio drama was written to be listened to with your eyes closed, and it still works.
