Radio Paradise Main Mix (EU) 320k AAC

Radio Paradise is what happens when two people who love records decide the playlist should feel like a conversation. Bill and Rebecca Goldsmith started it from their home in California in 2000, and it is still listener-supported and free of ads.

The Main Mix is the flagship. One hour might take you from Talking Heads to a Malian guitar band to a Bach cello suite, and somehow each song answers the last. The segues are the point: the station is programmed by hand, and you can hear the care.

Long stretches at a desk, a drive with no plan, or a Sunday morning when you want something that isn't the same twenty songs. It rewards leaving it on.

This is the 320 kbps AAC stream, one of the best-sounding on the directory. If you like it, try FIP from Paris, which mixes styles just as freely, or KEXP for the same curiosity with live DJs. More in Eclectic.
